Very friendly Owners and service, And they always do a great job, I have been to other places in the area before and I prefer VIP Nails It can be enjoyable and very entertaining at times.
Rude. Ruined my girls day planned with my sister. Refused to do a simple design of a rose for my wedding nails. Used racial slurs. Felt so uncomfortable that I left my sister there in the middle of her mani and went somewhere else. That was supposed to be our bonding time. The staff acts like complete smart ass jerks. Ive never been more shocked or angry. They were rude to the young girl who came in right after me. I go to a nail and spa place to relax not get harassed about my nail choices. This place was like one of those restaurants where the staff purposely insults you for fun but it wasn't fun. Voted with my wallet and now my Google review. Got my nails done the way I wanted them at Wonder Nails in a nice environment. I wish my sister and I had went there first so we could have enjoyed our time together, what little we have.
I'm from out of town so just found the closest nail salon to where we were staying. They were way better than my place back home! Great environment and my nails and toes turned out great! Highly recommend.
The staff was very welcoming which was great. the final outcome with my nails is my biggest issue. My nails aren't evenly cut. The gel polish (that's supposed to stay on for at least 14 days) is already starting to fade and chip after a day. For a fill and gel the prices are more expensive then anyone I have been to in the past year or so. I asked for thicker nails because of my job, my nails are so thin I have a huge fear of them breaking, I even asked for them to be thicker and was obviously ignored. The guy who did my nails couldn't seem to hold the dermal tool in his hands properly or hold the equipment firm enough while doing my nails. the file from the dermal tool hit my cuticals and my cuticals are now irritated. My skin around my nails is starting to peel just from the tool slipping. I will never go back. This was overall a terrible experience.
I got my nails done here for homecoming and my experience wasn’t the best, but also wasn’t the worst. It was my first time being there, and I definitely felt that as soon as I walked in the room. They were pretty busy and everyone, including other customers, stared me down because I obviously wasn’t a regular. They weren’t that friendly to me (maybe because i’m not a regular?) and the lady who did my nails didn’t try to make any conversation. On top of that, I didn’t know that they didn’t do coffin shaped nails which was kind of a bummer. So I asked for square instead and shaped them when i got home. Overall, my nails looked great, but the experience made me feel self conscience and made me feel like an “outsider.”
