I have eaten here many times over the years, and the fried chicken on the buffet used to be great from what I recall, but over the years this location has steadily went down in service, food taste, and seems to not be as busy as it may be fading away, with all the newer and better choices to eat at now opened in Greenfield.
A very nice family run and oriented restaurant. They have a very nice breakfast buffet and nice salad bar. And at night they have dinner bars. Great home cooked food. Good service.
Good food, nothing fancy just down home cooking. The staff is very friendly and quick to serve. Their buffet's are well worth checking out.
Nothing stood out to me as being worth a return visit. With heavy heart, I do say sorry, but I can not recommend this restaurant.
The old time nostalgia of yesteryear was a draw for me but hard to say if I shall return or not. Competition is tough in the food industry, and if you start letting things slide downhill, they build momentum, and soon enough you bottom out and are finished. I hope they can turn this place around into its once greatness, but I sadly do not actually see that happening.
A great big 5 stars for our service at Jim Dandy. Our waitress Leanna was excellent. She shows amazing job performance, grace under pressure, fantastic work ethic, phenomenal organizational skills, and a great care for her patrons. She helped create the perfect dining atmosphere for myself and my children. If you are in Greenfield and are looking for a family atmosphere with a home cooked dining experience, then I invite you to join us at Jim Dandy and ask for Leanna.
The breakfast Buffett was okay. Pancakes in the Buffett were definitely horrible. Server asked if we wanted refills after we were presented our bill. Maybe it was an off day for the cooks and servers. All and all I left full.
