My surgery itself and nurses that went along with it were AMAZING, no complaints about them at all! The problem came after my surgery. I was having major pain and signs of infection and the office would only let me see one specific doctor (Dr. Lozano) who is only available 7 hours a week to see patients, which is completely ridiculous seeing as I live out of town. His whole in office staff was VERY RUDE. I did the best I could to make it in during his office hours (including taking MORE time off work) and he was called into a surgery so it was a wasted trip. Be VERY careful when choosing a doctor at this office, do your research.
Just the best experience one could have considering what I was there for...From Bobbi to Michelle and all the staff in between. Would highly recommend them....can't wait till my next colonoscopy lol...
Fast er times
I recently had a surgery I assumed my expensive health care would cover part if not most of it. It didn't cover anything. There were 4 components for this procedure. The other 3 companies agreed to let me pay this off monthly. This company (Hancock Surgery Center) sent my invoice to a collection agency even though I have been making monthly payments. I'm still going to be making monthly payments. So why send it to a collection agency? Makes no sense.
We were concerned when my wife's PCP stated she's have her surgery here after seeing the Google reviews. However, we had nothing but the best experience here! The staff (nurses, doctors, and receptionist) were AMAZING. They even accommodated me and got me something to drink. Would gladly come here again if it were closer to home.
