We have been Greenfield resident for some time and had frequented Mi Casa several times over the years and always thought the food, service and value was better than average. After visiting a recent Friday, our opinion has COMPLETELY changed. The place wasn't very busy yet orders at several tables came out completely messed up and mis-delivered. My selection, a 'special', was originally delivered to the wrong table and when I got it, the dish was lukewarm at best. HUGE disappointment. Perhaps there was a change in ownership because no one seemed to know what they were doing. Hope to support local business but not like this. We won't be back.
After waiting, 35 min for my son's severely overcooked "chicken tenders" to be replaced, we simply gave up. We ordered him chicken tenders and rice. The tenders were not tenders, they were some chopped and formed dinosaur nuggets. Burnt to oblivion. The owner did tell us we could have them for free but why would i feed my child rock hard nuggets, free or not. We opted for a cheeseburger instead which we decided to quit waiting on after 35 minutes. The rice was dry and flavorless. I had a seafood entree which said flour tortillas not corn and arrived with corn. The menu prices in the restaurant were approximately 30% higher than the prices posted online. The owner was very friendly though.
Very very good food. Very friendly and attentive staff. Will definitely eat here over and over again!
This place is like family so sad I won't be in Greenfield any more but I will make the commute from Indy to get my Quaso and fries!
This restaurant has been such a disappointment. We have tried this place a few times thinking it would get better, it never has. I last and final experience was the worst. Our waiter absolutely didn't care about anything and told us to go to mcdonalds. The food was not to temp and I have made a report with the health department. I recommend to go to Indy for great Mexican food.
