The decor is nice and outdoorsy with trees and animals hanging around here and there, haha. The staff is usually friendly and in a good mood. One of the best places in Greenfield for a nice sit down meal at a decent price.
Used to be our favorite local steak place. I recommended it to everyone. Ordered the Ribeye medium and got a piece of charcoal. My girlfriends was equally over cooked. Showed the manager, he said yeah, our cook is having a bad night. He did offer to replace it. An hour into pour visit that seemed like bad idea... be a while before we return.
Reiterating, this is a 5 for 5 star restaurant. Never have we had a bad experience. Due to popularity the wait time to be seated is respectively longer than most restaurants. Food is always hot and orders are correct. Friendly staff. Clean environment.
Ordered carry out. Parked in carry out spot. 20 minutes after email says food will be ready rolls around, no calls or people. Go to front entrance since entrance near carry out parking was locked. Was told to go to bar for food. Stand at bar for 10 minutes waiting on food. Would like to know what the procedure is for carryout. Why have a parking spot on the backside of restaurant if we need to come in.
I have eaten the steaks and burgers both here, and both are very good. I prefer the large ribeye for the marbled fat for extra flavor. The chili is pretty good too, ask for cheese, and jalapenos, but hold the onions, ha.
During lunch time you can normally get in and out fairly quick for those with 1 hour to get back to work. Lunch menu is good, some items are less expensive but have smaller portions. The prices are as expected for a roadhouse type steak place. About $20 for a big steak with all the goodies.
Nice place to eat for this not so big town. I have eaten here several times and the service has been good most of the time. if they are really busy such as on a weekend night, then service can be slow, so watch out how fast you empty your glass because it may be a while for a refill, ha. But again, service is normally pretty good.
I like the atmosphere of this restaurant and the food I ate was good the other two people that were with me also like their food. You can get what most Steakhouse serves. I thought the price was pretty good the waitress was very attentive maybe a little too much. As we felt like she was actually bothering us. But it was nice that she cared enough to keep checking.
